- 16.5 ounces refrigerated cookie dough
- 2 cups prepared white royal icing
- black decorating gel
- 2 ounces orange fondant
Using a rolling pin, roll out dough thinly to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into circles with a cookie cutter.
Arrange dough in a single layer on a cookie sheet and bake according to recipe or package directions. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before decorating.
Gently pour white royal icing on top of each cookie, spreading as needed to cover. Arrange iced cookies in single layer on a baking sheet and let stand for a few minutes for the icing to set.
Using black decorating frosting, draw two dots on the icing for the “eyes”.
Shape a small pinch of orange fondant into triangular/carrot shapes to resemble snowman’s nose.
Place the shaped orange fondant in the center of each cookie under the eyes to resemble the nose.
Using the black decorating frosting, draw a smile under the nose to complete snowman’s face.
