Russian Root Beer Float with Kahlua, Vodka, ice cream, and root beer is a grown-up twist on a classic fountain drink. It’s rich, creamy and perfect for anytime you need a little fun in your life!
I am an alcohol lightweight and not really into hard drinks. One sip, I am giggling like a fool. Two sips, I am atop a table singing an off-key rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive. Three sips, I am passed out on the couch dead to the world. But when I watched my hero, Rachel Ray, whip up this Russian root beer float on her show, I immediately rushed to the store to get the ingredients together. I just had to try it!
Root beer floats are one of my favorite treats growing up and this version kicked-up with shots of Kahlua and Vodka makes the classic fountain drink perfect for adult fun. Rich, creamy and with the right amount of punch, Russian root beer float is perfect for your New Year festivities or anytime you need a little fun in your life.
Here’s wishing you all a blessed 2017!
P.S. What to with the rest of the vodka? This classic Moscow Mule is a crisp, refreshing and the perfect cocktail for all seasons!
